Whether you’re a boutique day care or a full-sized school library, The Book Garden has hand-pick and deliver the very resources that have ensured a quality education for thousands of learning centres and schools across the country.

Wonderschool, ACT

The Book Garden started with much humbler beginnings amongst the rummage and dust of a Sydney garage in the 1980’s. Two sisters – one in publishing and the other a teacher – noticed it was significantly difficult for teachers to source a good range of quality resources and books for the classroom, particularly within early childhood education. So, they decided to do it themselves. After all, they knew exactly what teachers were looking for.

With such high demand, it wasn’t long until The Book Garden outgrew the modest garage and expanded well beyond the suburbs. Childcares and schools across the city were relying on The Book Garden’s unparalleled expertise, stocking their classroom bookshelves with a diverse range of educational resources tailored specifically to their needs.

The Book Garden is continually growing and can now be found in both Brisbane and Melbourne, with new locations set to open in the future.
